CEPSI is also working closely with the press and media, who are reminded that registration is now open and will close on September 30, 2008. Members of the press will need to register in advance in order to qualify for event badges and access to all events.

During September, for preparatory works, various organizations have paid visits to Macao to meet with the Organizing Committee including China Power Investment Corporation (CPI), State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), one of the Supporting Organizations China Southern Power Grid (CSG), and the next CEPSI organizer Taiwan Power Company.

In August, Jose Oliveira Paulo, the Secretary General of AESIEAP Council, attended the 17th Pacific Power Association (PPA) Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition, hosted by the Cook Islands power utility, Te Aponga Uira (TAU) based in Rarotonga, Cook Islands.
