During the conference there will be an opportunity for delegates to visit some interesting power-related facilities. There will be two technical visits to power stations owned by CLP and Hong Kong Electric in nearby Hong Kong, three sites in Macau as well as to three sites in China.

In May the Organizing Committee visited Vietnam to meet leading officials from EVN. This was the latest in a series of visits being made by the committee in the run-up to the conference to be held at the Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel, from 27 to 31 October 2008.

The Vietnam meeting follows another recent visit to Bejing where Franklin Willemyns led a team of four delegates including the Coordinator of the CEPSI Organizing Committee Peres Diniz, Advisor Iun Iok Meng, and Committee Member Benjamin Yue.
