PRESS/MEDIA - WHY ATTEND?

Press Conference
A Press Conference will be organised for all registered media to meet top representatives/speakers of CEPSI 2008.

Media Briefings By CONFERENCE SPEAKERS/CEPSI/AESEAP EXECUTIVES
Media Briefings are useful interactive forums where media delegates gather breaking news and current industry issues in Asia-Pacific. These sessions are also valuable opportunities for media delegates to raise questions and conduct interviews to gain further insights on important developments in the presenting country and region.

Media Centre
A Media Centre will be made available to all media delegates as a working office and news source during CEPSI 2008 (admission strictly by media badge only). The following facilities will be provided:

• Office Stationery
  
• Couch Set and Coffee Table for discussion / interview sessions
• Computer Terminals with Internet access, plug-in USB ports and CD-burner *
• Printing and Photocopying Service
  
• IDD Fax Line
  
• Local Telephone Line
  
• News Bulletin Board
  
• Pigeon Hole for Press Materials
  
• Two Daily Coffee Breaks

Social Events & Functions
Apart from business sessions, there will be hosted and social functions for all press/media delegates to attend and network in a relaxed atmosphere:

• Opening Ceremony
  
• Hosted Luncheons and Dinners

HOSTED PRESS/MEDIA DELEGATES

Members of the Media/Press can now register their interest to attend CEPSI 2008. If you are an accredited Editor/Journalist/Producer working for an acclaimed INDUSTRY, BUSINESS OR NEWS media, you can submit an application for the Media Hosting Programme. There are only a few slots for the Hosted Press/Media Delegates.

Only bona fide editors, journalists and writers will be admitted as Accredited Press. Applicants must first meet the organisers’ validation criteria before they are confirmed for the Media Hosting Programme. Please submit your Media Registration Form to us by 30 September 2008.

Conditions for ACCESS TO MEDIA CENTERS:

• Only bona fide editors, journalists and writers will be admitted as Accredited Media. The organisers reserve the right to refuse accreditation or admission without explanation. A valid business card should be presented onsite.
  
• The Media badge is not transferable.
  
• Publishers, sales, marketing, advertising and public relations agency personnel may not use media accreditation to gain entry to the show or official functions. If so discovered, they will be asked to leave the premises and the Media badge will be confiscated.
  
• Media delegates should not interrupt buyer-seller appointments that are scheduled or in progress, nor should they canvass for business for their publications (print or electronic), distribute promotional literature and sales kits, rate cards and the like. Prospecting and promoting other trade and/or consumer shows and events is also expressly forbidden.
