Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of CEPSI 2008 Organizing Committee and CEM, it is with distinct pleasure that I invite you to the 17th Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry or more commonly known as
CEPSI on 27-31 October 2008 at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel.

I am proud to note that CEPSI has retained its reputation as the region’s foremost forum for experts, practitioners, professionals,
equipment suppliers and service providers in the electricity industry to meet and exchange knowledge and expertise. Since 1975, the support of the 17 member countries and regions has been unwavering and continues to sustain the Association and we now finally unveil the 17th edition of CEPSI.

With the theme “Power Sector in a Fast Climate Changing World”, we wish to highlight the complex challenges we face as providers of power – the balancing act of providing energy but at the same time mindful of our impact on the environment. We hope that in our small way, CEPSI 2008 will be the forum where we pool our collective wisdom and experience in order to unveil the solutions we need to solve these challenges.

So come and participate – share your expertise as a speaker, show your products and services as an exhibitor, hear and see all of this all as a delegate. It is through your continued support that we shall be able to deliver another successful CEPSI.
