The Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) has become one of the premier events in Asia not just within its own industry but throughout the Asian business community. This bi-annual conference and exhibition is instrumental in the development of the electricity industry in the region. Member countries are appointed to host the conference on a rotational basis.
CEPSI is under the patronage of the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP) – a regional non-government organization founded in 1975, whose main objectives include facilitating exchange of expertise between electric power companies of various countries and territories in the region; promoting co-operation among member organizations; and seeking and providing solutions to problems that the industry is facing in this area of the world. The AESIEAP members are organizations responsible for providing or administering public electricity supply in the Asia Pacific region and other organizations related to this industry.
CEPSI is the main communications platform of AESIEAP.
